Reserve Aid Presents a Film Event

in Memory of Beth A. Quigley

Saturday, September 11th 2010

at Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank, NJ

Reserve Aid will be holding a film benefit on September 11, 2010 in memory of Middletown Township, NJ resident Beth A. Quigley who died in the September 11th terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.  The Award-winning documentary Severe Clear will be shown followed by a Q & A session with Reserve Aid board member Michael Scotti.  Severe Clear is a 93-minute nonpolitical documentary based on the journal notes of First Lieutenant Scotti as well as video footage shot by him and other members of 1st Battalion, 4th Marines during the outset of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Scotti, who became friends with Beth Quigley while both were students at Red Bank Catholic High School (Red Bank, NJ), carried her picture with him during his tour in Iraq and incorporated references to Beth’s memory throughout the film.  Produced by Sirk Productions, directed by Kristian Fraga (“Anytown, USA”) and featuring original score by Cliff Martinez (“Traffic”, “Narc”, “Solaris”) the film offers an unflinching look at the uncertainty, disorder and chaos of war from the remarkable perspective of one Marine.
